春夜喜雨
杜甫
好雨知时节，当春乃发生。
随风潜入夜，润物细无声。
野径云俱黑，江船火独明。
晓看红湿处，花重锦官城。
许渊冲译文：
Happy Rain on a Spring Night
Good rain knows its time right,
It will fall when comes spring.
With wind it steals in night;
Mute, it wets everything.
Over wild lanes dark cloud spreads;
In boat a lantern looms.
Dawn sees saturated reds;
The town's heavy with blooms.

好雨知時節， 當春乃發生。隨風潛入夜， 潤物細無聲。
野徑云俱黑， 江船火獨明。曉看紅濕處， 花重錦官城。\r
Good rain knows the time right,
To fall as spring's around.
It drops in with wind at quiet night,
To dampen all things without sound.
Clouds cloak country paths in dark,
All invisible but a gleaming boatlight.
Dawn sees something wet red spark,
O, the Town* drowns in flowers bright.
hehe, ironice, my fat version has lost some weights, hehehe

Now I revise my version again.
All invisible but a boat light Vs all invisible but a gleaming boatlight
Which is better, ironice?

Obviously, the latter is plumper than the former but probably nicer, hehehe

Field paths veiled by clouds dark,

不错， much slimmer, hehehe, 提一点，spring's appearance 似乎不妥，可用其同义词 presence.
