据唐成介绍香港发展帆船已经有200年的历史，近些年来主打的香港帆船比赛周也已经举办第6届赛事。据悉香港帆船比赛周是亚洲青少年杯帆船巡回赛每年的第一站，近些年来越来越多的内地青少年来到香港参赛并取得优秀的成绩，2019年就有超过50支内地的船队来到香港。 Show
香港帆船比赛周对青少年帆船发展有重要的的意义，对此唐成说道：“香港帆船比赛周有很多不同的组别，对“新手航海青少年”非常友好，这个活动为国内有潜力的青少年选手提供了宝贵的国际赛事经验。帆船比赛除了竞技的输赢，更重要的是这些青少年可以通过规范的国际帆船赛事树立良好的体育精神，与来自各个国家和地区的帆友建立国际社交的概念以及良好的国际友谊，这个意义是更广泛且长远的。” 本报讯 记者莫海晖报道：11月22日下午，2020年第三届粤港澳大湾区“翠湖香山·九洲杯”帆船赛暨2020年珠海市民健身运动会粤港澳帆船友谊赛在珠海国际航海文化中心落下帷幕。实力超群的香港帆船运动总会队摘得了四个比赛项目中的三项冠军，成为此次赛事的最大赢家。 本届赛事吸引粤港澳大湾区各城市帆船队积极报名，15支赛队分别参与珐伊28R统一级别场地赛、长航赛及IRC级别大帆船长航赛，粤港澳帆船友谊赛的角逐。 此次比赛为期两天，珐伊28R统一级别场地赛在九洲湾海域及香炉湾海域进行，另外两个级别的赛队在港珠澳大桥沿线及三角岛周边海域分别进行了激烈的长航赛竞逐。最终香港帆船运动总会队获得珐伊28R统一级别总成绩第一名、珐伊28R统一级别长航赛第一名、粤港澳帆船友谊赛第一名，珠海FMA帆船队获得IRC级别大帆船长航赛第一。 中新网4月26日电 据香港文汇网报道，香港帆船运动总会25日宣布，为庆祝香港特别行政区成立25周年，将于6月11日、19日及25日与三大游艇会在3区合办3场帆船赛，参加费用全免，并会送纪念品及奖杯奖品。 香港帆船运动总会指，将与香港仔游艇会、白沙湾游艇会及香港游艇会合办香港特别行政区成立25周年帆船赛。帆船赛分三场，第一场将于6月11日在维多利亚港举行；第二场于6月19日在港岛南区举行，第三场则会于6月25日在西贡区举行。 每一艘参赛帆船可以以个别帆船身份选择参与一场、两场或所有三场赛事。若不能参与所有三场赛事，亦可以找其他地区的参赛帆船组成一队，完成三项赛事，以取得的总分决定名次。个别帆船或团队须自行选择全港18个区中任何一区作为代表区域。 Congratulations!
